In 2018, Tehachapi Citizens for Responsible Government was formed to battle in a contentious election that had major influence on the direction of our community. Thanks to great community support, we scored an overwhelming victory.

Those candidates have done such a great job that they are all running unopposed in 2022. However, there is a major election for the Tehachapi Cummings County Water District that needs our and your attention.

Our mission is to continue the progress made in our community by supporting candidates and initiatives that will build on the success that has made Tehachapi the shining beacon on the hill. 

Accomplishments and results speak louder than hate and hearsay. We will tout the candidates that have made real progress in our community by showcasing their achievements and intentions for our City and County. 

Our supporters are difference makers in our community. They are business owners, engaged citizens and volunteers that have given their time and efforts to making Tehachapi a desirable place to live. Their opponents seek election and re-election to continue to personally profit from their public position. This means creating water priorities that favor one use while denying residential taxpayers access to the water they subsidize with property taxes. Enough is enough.
